Join Corowa District Landcare, Our Town Balldale and Federation Council for a fun and rewarding community tree planting day. Celebrate National Tree Day by planting a diverse mix of native trees, shrubs and groundcovers, helping strengthen and enhance our local environment.
This year’s tree planting day will feature a special guest presentation from Prof. Dave Watson from CSU on the importance of farmland for wildlife.

10:30am: Tree planting commences

12:30pm: Guest presentation from Prof. Dave Watson (Charles Sturt University) on the importance of farmland for wildlife.
What to bring: Please dress for the weather, wear enclosed shoes, bring a hat, gloves, drink bottle, chair, and your favourite planting tool if you have one (e.g. mattock, trowel - also available to borrow).
